We understand that our community needs different types of support to maintain a healthy and positive online experience. We aim to equip them with skills and knowledge to help them build resilience to protect themselves and others on the platform.
Including teens meaningfully into our civility work is core to helping our community thrive. Our Youth Engagement Program aims to include teens in our work in the following ways:
Educating young people on safety features and digital well-being via content by youth for youth.
Partnering with our internal teams to bring the insights of youth to the table.
Continuing to advocate for online civility from a youth-rights framework.
As part of this program, we seek out diverse teen voices from across the U.S. to work with Roblox through our Teen Council.
We are looking for up to 15 young people in the U.S. between the ages of 14 to 17 years old who are passionate, creative, and familiar with our platform. Ideal candidates will also be social media savvy and have experience building community.
